Notch Summer Session Release

It’s Summer and it’s hot. It’s really hot. What a perfect time for the debut of Notch Summer Session. Notch Summer Session is a style defying beer – a hybrid Rye Ale, American Wheat, German Kolsch. We also borrowed from a vintners practice of fining but not filtering, where the yeast is remove, but no filtration occurs. The result? Full flavor for such a delicate, clean and subtle Session beer. Not only does it have a good portion of wheat and rye, but oats were used to add a soft note to the dry finish. And, the German hops of Hallertau and Tettnang are lingering in the background for balance and crispness required for a Summer Session thirst quencher.

Draft lines are now flowing with thirst quenching, flavorful beer at 4.5%ABV.
